When you do something inconsiderate, apologize. Simple. Don’t wait around hoping no one noticed it or remembers it. Because sometimes people are too stubborn and hurt to forget about what you did. And if you’re too proud to admit you were wrong, you will lose people you care about. Decide what is really worth it.

One of my favorite things about traveling is watching things change before my eyes. Looking at the piece highway ahead of my car move rapidly toward me as I move further away from home. The feeling of sitting on an airplane, destined to land some place I’ve never been before. Knowing that in the time it takes me to blink, I’ve moved a huge amount of space towards my destination....
